Zucchero concert in Florence

Italy’s most famous musician Zucchero, is currently on tour in Europe and has been since May, where he started in Zurich in Switzerland. He is playing songs from his latest album Chocabeck and the tour is called Chocabeck Tour 2011. His real name is Adelmo Fornaciari, but no one knows him by that name. But the name Zucchero is internationally known and recognized in the major international music business. Zucchero is the Italian word for sugar and the name fits him well. Zucchero has won two World Music Awards and sold 40 million records worldwide. He has played with some of the world’s most famous musicians like Eric Clapton, Joe Cooker, Clarence Clemons and he is probably best known for the song “Senza una Donna” with Paul Young. At the end of 2011 ends his tour in his home country Italy and on the 20th November, he gives a concert in Florence at Nelson Mandela Forum.
