FC Barcelona and Real Madrid go head to head in the quarter finals of the Copa del Rey at Camp Nou in Barcelona on Wednesday the 25th January 2012. This is the fifth time the two rivals meet this season and will be the decider as to who reaches the last four.

GSMA Mobile Congress 2012 in Barcelona

Every year the GSMA Mobile Congress is held in Barcelona and in 2012 the congress will be held from 27th February – 1st March. It is the fifth time that the GSMA will be held in Barcelona and the city will host GSMA until 2018.

Spanish Super Cup 2011 - Barcelona vs. Madrid

The Spanish football league “La Liga” starts again soon and this year the season begins with the Spanish Super Cup, where the two enemies Real Madrid and FC Barcelona meet each other in two matches. The first match will be played on the 14th August in Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu and the second on 17th August in Barcelona at Camp Nou.

From 20-22 May 2011 the winding Catalunya Circuit just outside of Barcelona plays host to the Formula One Spanish Grand Prix. The excitement reaches a crescendo of noise and glamour as the state-of-the-art cars go racing at speeds of up to 200 miles per hour (320kmph) around the circuit.
