The Carmen Thyssen Museum opens in Malaga

There is excitement and anticipation in Malaga this week as the Carmen Thyssen Museum gets prepared to open on the 24th March 2011. The Baroness Thyssen has donated 230 works by artists such as Zurbarán, Sorolla, Zuloaga or Romero de Torres.

Kippenberger Meets Picasso at the Picasso Museum in Malaga

The Picasso Museum in Malaga is exhibiting the works of German artist Martin Kippenberger, from the 21st February through to the 29th May 2011. The exhibition is entitled Kippenberger Meets Picasso and will be showing approximately 50 works, including large paintings, drawings and sculptures, as well as a selection of over 60 artist’s books, catalogues and posters.
